However, if you’re seeking coverage through WorkCover, TAC, or other compensation schemes for work or accident-related injuries, you’ll need a referral from your doctor. Similarly, if you’re hoping to access remedial massage through a Chronic Disease Management plan under Medicare, a GP referral is required. Many clients find it helpful to discuss remedial massage with their doctor as part of their overall health management.
